Please use this Safe Connections site to learn more about the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault…and our programs where victims become survivors. Our mission is to reduce the impact and incidence of relationship violence and sexual assault through education, crisis intervention, counseling and support services.
Located in St. Louis, Missouri, Safe Connections is a place where relationship violence and its long-term effects are addressed in complete confidence and security. Our individual counseling enables thousands of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to reclaim their lives. Our 24-hour Crisis Helpline volunteers provide resources and information to survivors, family members and concerned friends. Project HART offers information about healthy relationships to adolescents at schools and other sites around the region. Our services are free, safe and confidential.

You can receive help, information, referrals, and support for a range of issues without being judged or rushed into any decision you are not prepared to make. No matter what is on your mind, we are here to encourage and ensure you that you are not alone.

Synergy Services
At Synergy we envision a world without family violence, abuse or neglect. Synergy Services, Inc. began in 1970 as Synergy House, the only shelter for runaway and homeless youth in western Missouri. Today, Synergy provides a full continuum of care to assist individuals and families with immediate respite from violence, and services which empower clients to find and choose good options for future safety and success. In addition, we provide supportive services to families in crisis in an effort to prevent violence and focus on community education and social change in an effort to build a safer and more humane society.

Rainbow House
The mission of Rainbow House is to keep children safe and to support families in crisis through prevention, assessment, and intervention in child abuse and neglect. This is facilitated by many services, which includes the Children’s Emergency Shelter, Regional Child Advocacy Center, Homeless Youth Program and Clinical Programs.
